The Note Book of Death - What Is Death Note?

Light Yagami is an incredibly educated young guy who resents the wrongdoing and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a significant change when he locates a mysterious black leather notebook, known as the "Death Note", just lying on the floor. The Notebook's instructions promise that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is at first sceptical of the notebook's legitimacy, yet after testing it, Light realizes that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the former keeper of the Death Note, a shinigami called Ryuk, Light seeks to turn into "the God of the New World" by passing his sharp reasoning on those he deems to be evil or even who get in his path. All of the Death Notes are governed by the same list of guidelines determining the extents and limitations of the Notes' powers.

After many murders, Misa Amane, a bearer of another Death Note, encounters Light and attempts to help him to accomplish his job however she is captured and detained by L. After shedding his memories, Light and L start to examine a criminal group known as "Yotsuba" collectively who obtained Misa's Death Note. When arresting them, Light recovers almost all his memories when touching the Death Note, recalls his plan, and forces the previous owner of Misa's Notebook, and orders Rem the Shinigami, to finish it and kill L.

After L's death, Light is granted the position of the "new L". However Light is challenged by L's successor, Near, in a confrontation of minds. Near automatically suspects Light to be Kira and offers alternative ways of offense. Meanwhile, Kira has gained the majority of public support, and has associates to assist him carry on killing criminals. Mello abducts one of these acquaintances, and Kira kills his very own contact. Mello dies in the consequences, Near is then able to utilize his SPK individuals to find Kira's further contact, and produce a fake, clone Death Note. This is used to mislead Kira into "killing" Near as well as the SPK with a fake notebook. Undoubtedly, Near and the SPK stay alive and use Kira's very own signed Death Note as evidence to arrest him.
